Breakfast Event: “AI Current and Future Impact on Technology and Compliance”
We are delighted to have successfully hosted, in collaboration with Pettemerides Consulting, a successful Breakfast Event for leading professionals on the theme “AI: Current and Future Impact on Technology and Compliance” at Amathus Beach Hotel Limassol on Thursday November 6th, 2025.
On behalf of Pettemerides Consulting, Mr. Yiannis Pettemerides shared his insights on “The Future of Compliance: Innovation, Automation and Assurance” and how AI has transformed money laundering with the stern warning that AI-powered crime is agile, borderless, and can very easily penetrate a company’s systems.
Representing eBOS, Mr. Panos Kyriakides, Senior Commercial Manager, who on the other hand, presented on “From Complexity to Clarity: How Technology and AI Support Modern Compliance” and how eBOS has embedded AI in its WiseBOS Suite to shape the future of technology and help companies meet complex & demanding regulatory standards.
Over the years, I’ve learned that compliance can either slow a company down — or strengthen it. The difference often comes down to how well we use technology and how AI-powered systems can make compliance not just manageable, but genuinely empowering.
The event concluded with an engaging discussion, where participants exchanged valuable perspectives on the evolving role of AI in technology and their currents needs for compliance.
