eBOS Welcomes MOKAS as a New Customer
eBOS, a leading information technology company, offering technologically advanced RegTech solutions, is delighted to announce that has commence a business collaboration with the Financial Intelligence Unit (MOKAS). Following an evaluation process of multiple vendors, eBOS was selected to provide software solutions to MOKAS.
Established in 1997, MOKAS operates under the Attorney General of the Republic of Cyprus as an independent and autonomous unit. The primary role of MOKAS is to combat money laundering, associated predicate offenses, and terrorist financing. It receives, analyses, and evaluates suspicious transaction reports (STRs), issues court orders to freeze and confiscate illegal proceeds, and serves as the Asset Recovery Office of Cyprus. MOKAS is a critical player in maintaining the integrity of the financial system both domestically and internationally.
Through this partnership, MOKAS has chosen eBOS to support its mission to combat financial crime and protect the financial system from illicit activity, through the utilisation of WiseBOS Suite.
